Revision History
ScopeDriver 1.4 Released 12 June 2003
- Support for Losmandy Gemini Level 1 and Level 3 added. Thanks to Stephen Voss for suggesting this support, and for working to make it successful throughout the beta period.
- Main Window Tracking Rate should now update properly on Windows when exiting from Tracking Rate Window.
- Track Rate display now summons Tracking Rate Window when clicked.
- Fixed Windows text encoding problem in Date & Time Window.
- Slew Rate now displayed alongside Slew button for Autostars (always was visible for LX200 Classic).
- Clicking Slew Rate value in Main Window now sets Slew button, in addition to bringing up Slew Rate Window.
- Log window should now report correct coordinates when a non-LX200 Classic is slewed via an Observing List.
- Startup Preferences Window now displays app version and internal build number.
- ScopeDriver will no longer attempt to get field data when connected to an Autostar or Losmandy Gemini.
- Manual Daylight Saving Time checkbox in Date and Time Window now applies the proper correction for all instruments.
- Time and Date Window now enables auto-get of GMT Offset when running Windows version (previously only available on Mac OS).
- Fixed error with azimuths occasionally being 180 degrees off in LX200 Classics.
- Fixed missing “Sync.” menus when LX200 Classic connected.
- Fixed GMT Offset sign error when connected to an LX200 GPS.
- Removed Preference Window control “South Equals:” — this was mainly to correct for the original LX200 “Classic,” for which South equals 0 degrees instead of 180 degrees. ScopeDriver now always considers North to be zero degrees, and converts azimuth when connected to an LX200 “Classic.”
