About the Program
The Sky Tonight® first aired on WEFT on November 23, 1981. Today, more than 26 years later, The Sky Tonight® continues to provide Central Illinoisans with interesting information about the night sky’s many beautiful sights.
The Sky Tonight® is written and produced by Stephen E. Hutson. Steve is an avid amateur astronomer — sharing his love of the night sky with the many area residents who regularly listen to the program. As with all WEFT programming, this program is produced on a volunteer basis. If you’d like to donate to support future production of the program, you may do so here. 10% of all donations go to WEFT, to support their outstanding service.
